Dikesh Malhotra, president and chief executive officer of IMS Group and a businessman from Nepal, was born on June 7, 1987. Malhotra is the only child of Dev Raj Malhotra’s grandson Sabita Malhotra and Nepali businessman Deepak Malhotra, chairman of the IMS Group. Dr. Deepika Malhotra, the older sister of Malhotra, is an eye doctor who just finished a fellowship in Jhapa, Nepal.

Personal Life
After graduating from Modern Indian School in 2005, Malhotra continued his education in the US. Malhotra was listed as one of the top 10 most gorgeous men in the Nepali weekly publication Saptahik as of the year 2071.
After graduating, unlike many others, Malhotra went back home. He was featured on the covers of numerous journals and e-magazines, and he was interviewed by numerous media outlets for inspiring and pushing young Nepalese entrepreneurs to return home after completing their higher education abroad.
The Turkish Airline crash-landed at Tribhuvan International Airport in March 2015 when Malhotra was returning from a business trip with his father and colleagues from Samsung. Malhotra managed to survive this incident as well. Nobody was damaged or injured in the crash, and all of the passengers and crew survived.

Dikesh Malhotra earned his management bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in the USA in 2011, returned to Nepal to work for a while with IMS, which is also Samsung’s national distributor, and then traveled to the UK to earn his MBA from the University of East Anglia in 2012.
After finishing his MBA and returning from the UK, he immediately entered business. Malhotra created a corporation while he was a visitor in order to buy the Jerry’s Subs and Pizza franchise in Maryland. He has been focusing on the company since arriving back in the nation.
Since 2001, IMS has served as Nepal’s exclusive national distributor for Samsung smartphones, holding the top spot in the sector. In 2016, the IMS Group also purchased the SsangYong distributorship, a Korean automaker.
The business asserts that under his direction, sales have doubled, market outstanding has been reduced, and partner organizations have expanded. Employees now have access to a new corporate headquarters, which boasts the development of new divisions and communication channels.
